Indulge your love of Scottish country dancing! Join us at 7:30pm at Tapestry Folkdance Center with your MC, Scott Marsalis, for an informal social dance. Live music is planned for some dances.

19 February 2012 Performance at the Scottish Ramble
The RSCDS Twin Cities Branch will perform from 1:15 to 2:30pm with Thistledown and Fligmagearie Scottish Step Dancers at the Scottish Ramble, an indoor Scottish festival that includes performances of Scottish music and dance, vendors, and information booths for local Scottish organizations.

23-25 March 2012 Madison Scottish Country Dancers 35th Annual Ball Weekend
This year's event also honors long-time members Norma and Michael Briggs. The highlight of the weekend is the ball on Saturday night in the Memorial Union Great Hall. Music will be by O’er the Border (Mike Briggs, piano, and Dave Mullen, fiddle) with special guests Karen Zethmayr (violin) and David Zethmayr (cello). There will be a dinner and ceilidh on Friday and a Sunday morning potluck brunch as well. Email madisonscottishcountrydancers [at] gmail.com for more information.
27-28 April 2012 Central Iowa (Ames) Annual Ball Weekend
