The Trysting Place
32 S 2C    RSCDS 35
1-8 1C and 2C set and link. Repeat to original places.
9-16 1M and 2W cross RH, set and repeat to original places while 1W and 2M set and cross RH, and repeat to original places.
17-24 1C and 2C dance RH across and LH back, finishing in a line of 4 up and down the middle of the set, women facing down, men facing up, both hands joined with partner.
25-32 1C and 2C dance the Highland schottische poussette.
PERFORMANCE NOTE: Dance twice through with two 2-couple sets arranged as a 4-couple set (i.e. "ends, ends").


Festival Frolic
32 S + 32 R Friedman-Shedlov
Showcase dance for two couples in a diamond formation. Men are on the sides of the diamond with their partners to their right at the top and bottom.
Strathspey:
1-8 All dance the PETRONELLA figure to end on the opposite side of the set.
9-12 All dance RIGHT HANDS ACROSS HALFWAY to original positions and SET.
13-16 All dance LEFT HANDS ACROSS HALFWAY. Men CAST to the right one quarter of the way around the set, while women continue to TURN LH to end facing partners in a line up and down the set.
17-24 All SET using Highland Schottische step.
25-32 All dance a REEL OF FOUR. On bars 6-8 of the reel, women curve round to the right, ending in progressed positions on the sides of the diamond, one place counter-clockwise from where they began the dance. Men finish the reel as usual, ending at the top and bottom of the diamond, one place counter-clockwise from where they began the dance.
Reel:
1-32 REPEAT bars 1-32 of the strathspey in reel time, but forming a line across the set on bar 16. On bars 17-24 use pas de basque coupe setting step.
